21 Day Clean Eating Challenge –  a free program with everything you need to kickstart or reset your healthy eating habits and ditch processed foods!

Hey friends!  Who’s up for a little challenge??  I get it, recent times may have us all feeling a little less than our best. So to get us all motivated to eat cleaner and feel better, I’m hosting a 21 Day Clean Eating Challenge, beginning Monday, April 12!

If you’re sick of the winter blahs, ready to kick start some healthy habits, or need a little motivation to clean up your diet, this Spring Clean Eating Challenge is for you! Most of us start the new year with grand goals of eating healthy, exercising regularly, and sustaining healthy habits.  Until about mid-February when it all falls apart – sound familiar?  If you’ve been recently derailed from your goals, need to reset, or lose a few pounds before summer, you can sign up here to get started! Spring is the BEST time to commit to a healthy reset, with warmer weather and the promise of a fresh start right around the corner.

So often I hear that “I want to eat clean but I don’t know where to start.”  Well, I’m here to tell you it doesn’t have to be complicated.  By beginning with a few baby steps and committing to your goals, it can be done.  This Clean Eating Challenge will introduce you to eating only real, whole foods, cutting out the processed junk, and how to organize your meals around these goals.

Why is Clean Eating Important?

Well, to put it simply, our bodies weren’t designed to handle all the highly processed junk that’s become the standard American diet.  It’s been proven over and over that a nutrient-dense diet of whole foods can help to reduce inflammation, provide more energy, heal autoimmune conditions, and lower the risk of disease.

Here are my Top 8 Clean Eating Guidelines that helped me to transition to a clean eating lifestyle. Remember, you don’t have to do everything at once.  Even picking just one or two things from this list to implement is a great place to start!

Clean Eating Guidelines

Let’s clear up any confusion.  Clean eating can mean different things to different people.  So what’s the bottom line?  Here’s my definition – first of all, clean eating is a lifestyle choice, not a fad diet.  It means choosing real, whole ingredients, eliminating processed foods, cooking more often than not at home, regularly reading labels, and eating mindfully.  It doesn’t mean giving up everything you love or never again indulging in pizza, wine, and chocolate.  It’s about balance and making healthy choices most of the time so that you can enjoy your favorite treats a little bit of the time.  And most importantly, it means investing in yourself and your long term health!  You can read more about my own journey to a clean eating lifestyle here. I’m so passionate about sharing this topic, I even wrote a book about it!

If you are struggling to begin or unsure how to implement a clean eating lifestyle, this free challenge group is for you!  No fees, weigh-ins, or pressure.  Just commit to making some healthy changes, set your own goals, and follow along. This 21 Day challenge will teach you the basics with an easy to follow meal plan that is totally family friendly and fuss free.  I’ll supply you with some great tools, menus, simple recipes, free worksheets, peer support, and even a few prizes along the way!
