I’m totally hooked on my Air Fryer and all the things you can make in it! It’s convenient, fast, and creates the perfect crispy texture with very little or no oil. These Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes are the perfect example of a simple recipe taken to another level. They are super simple to make, use only a small amount of oil, and come out crispy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside. In about 20 minutes, you can have a tasty side dish to go with your favorite meal. I love the Air Fryer so much, I want to share the joy and am giving away a GoWise 5.8 quart Air Fryer (the model I won and love!) Scroll down to see how to enter to win!
Why Use an Air Fryer?
I was skeptical at first about purchasing an Air Fryer. Did I really need another large appliance? Was it worth the money? And what can an Air Fryer do that my oven can’t? Well, I have been pleasantly surprised at how versatile it is and the awesome results everytime I use it. By far, my favorite thing about the Air Fryer is the level of crispiness you can achieve. I also love using minimal oil and the easy clean up. No more messy pans with stuck on potato skins! The Air Fryer cooks everything from chicken wings (my favorite), to pizza, to veggies…you can even make baked goods in it!

How to Make Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes
Begin by prepping your potatoes – give them a quick wash and scrub.
Next, combine the potatoes with the oil and seasonings. Toss them real good to coat the potatoes!
Line your air fryer basket if desired – not necessary but helps to preserve the basket. I use these parchment liners.
Place the potatoes in the Air Fryer basket and cook for 20 minutes. You’ll want to stop and shake the basket once or twice during the cooking time.
That’s it! Perfectly crispy, and super tasty roasted potatoes! See below for ideas on what to serve with these Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes.
Variations on Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes
Try your favorite seasoning blend or one of my homemade spice blends or this Everything Bagel Seasoning on the potatoes for a different flavor profile.
This method of cooking roasted potatoes also works great with Yukon Gold and red potatoes.
I love using avocado oil for roasting potatoes and vegetables, but olive oil is also great.
What should I serve with Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes?
These Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes are perfect along side meat and veggies or salad. Try with one of these favorites for a healthy, family-friendly meal:

I was excited to see this post. I’ve been reading more and more about air fryers and wondered what they are like. My husband loves to make wings for the fall tailgates but I hate all the oil! This might be a great alternative. The potatoes look delicious. Thanks for posting.
Chicken wings are SO easy in the Air Fryer! I’ve never enjoyed making them because of the hassle – I’ll never make them any other way again!
