Clean Eating Meal Prep Guide (with Whole30 Meal Plan) – Weekly Meal Prep tips featuring clean, whole food recipes with a bonus meal plan and shopping list for Whole 30 program followers or those wishing to kick start a clean-eating lifestyle!
Who’s ready for a reset?? My next round of Whole30 begins January 2 and I would love to have you join me! For the next 4 weeks, my normal Clean Eating Meal Prep Guide will be Whole30 focused with a Whole30 Meal Plan, Prep Guide, and shopping list. Be sure to also check out my recipe archives for more Whole30/Paleo inspired recipes and watch for plenty of new recipes throughout the month!
You should know that I have a husband and two kids so everything I make will be family friendly with simple ingredients! Also, many of my recipes are made in the Instant Pot(which I highly recommend for meal prep purposes and just in general!) but if you don’t have one, that’s okay too. Although, what are you waiting for??!? It’s life changing!!
So a little bit about Whole30…I have had great results in the past with this program. And I couldn’t feel more ready to reset after all the holiday indulging. If you are new to the Whole30 plan, I highly recommend checking out the book The Whole 30: The 30 Day Guide to Total Health and Food Freedom. Huge disclaimer: It’s not for everyone and it’s definitely not easy! But if you struggle with feeling tired all the time, have regular digestive issues you can’t pinpoint, are pre-diabetic, or just need a “reset”, then it is a worthy read. The Whole30 concept aims to eat only clean, unprocessed foods for 30 days, much like a Paleo diet. After the 30 days are up, certain food groups are slowly reintroduced in order to determine their true effect on your system.
The following sample menu is for anyone who wants to eat healthier, regardless if you choose to follow the Whole 30 plan. I hope you find it helpful for kick starting those 2018 health goals!
I created this printable template for you to fill in your own whole30 meal plans or feel free to follow along with my menu! Here is the Printable template: Whole30 Meal Plan & Shopping List Template
Here are the Week 1 Recipes on my meal plan:
Homemade Seasoning Blends (totally optional but these will come in handy for the next 30 days!)
Perfect Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs (Prep Ahead)
Instant Pot Shredded Chicken with 2 chicken salad recipes included (Prep Ahead)

Whole30 Ranch Dressing (Prep Ahead)
Detox Turmeric Veggie Soup (Prep Ahead)

I can’t seem to download or print your Week One Menu and shopping list
Hey Lila, are you clicking on the link underneath the photos of the meal plan and shopping list? It seems to be working, but if you continue to have problems, let me know!
Hi, I’m so excited to use your meal plans! It’s been a couple years since I’ve done a whole 30 so I may not remember correctly, but for the mornings you say eggs+berries where do you get your fat content and shouldn’t there be veggies too? Thank you!!!
Hey Erica! Great questions! The eggs contain a good amount of fat on their own, but I like to fry them in ghee for the extra healthy fat. And yes, it’s always a good idea to add veggies to every meal. My personal preference is to eat my veggies in salads, snacks throughout the day, and at dinner. But you are right – include them at breakfast too if you can! Hope that helps and let me know if you have other questions 🙂
