Easy Strawberry Sorbet (Paleo) – simple 2 ingredient recipe, so light and refreshing and bursting with fresh strawberry flavor!
For a refreshing summer treat, this sorbet hits the spot. And it’s so embarrassingly easy to make! Using your blender or food processor, puree some berries with honey for extra sweetness and you’re done.
Early June is the beginning of strawberry season in West Michigan. We love to go strawberry picking for making jam from fresh berries. The extra berries go in the freezer for smoothies and making this sorbet. It’s the perfect summer dessert!
This method can be used with other frozen fruit for different varieties. Depending on the fruit, add-ins like coconut milk or water can help to reach the desired texture. The amount of honey in this recipe can also be adjusted according to your taste and the natural sweetness of your berries. Enjoy!
Easy Strawberry Sorbet
- 4 cups frozen strawberries, slightly thawed
- 1/4 cup raw honey
- Place semi-thawed strawberries into the bowl of a food processor or blender. Add honey.
- Process until smooth and creamy. Add additional honey if desired to taste.
- Pour into a freezer safe pan and place in freezer for at least 30 minutes until frozen. Remove when ready to eat, letting sit for a few minutes until easy to scoop.
