Admittedly, I am pretty obsessed with any and all Greek inspired recipes. Hello Greek Wedge Salad with Tzatziki and Avocado Feta Greek Salsa! I love to put a Greek spin on ordinary recipes and turkey burgers are the perfect blank canvas! Only four ingredients are needed to make these flavorful burgers and the tomato cucumber salsa takes them over the top. These Greek Turkey Burgers with Spinach and Feta will definitely be a regular in our rotation this grilling season!

How to Make Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers

Combine the ground turkey, feta, chopped spinach and Homemade Greek Seasoning in a bowl. Mix well using your hands but be careful not to overwork the meat. Divide the meat mixture into six equally sized portions and flatten into patties.

Grill the patties over medium high heat for 8-9 minutes, turning halfway, until cooked through. While the burgers are grilling, combine the Greek topping ingredients in a small bowl and set aside until ready to serve. Place burgers on a lettuce wrap or bun and add the topping.

Variations on Greek Turkey Burgers

Turkey burgers are perfect for adding fun flavor profiles. For a different variation, swap the Greek Seasoning for any of my Homemade Seasoning Blends and try cheddar or mozzarella in place of the feta. Here are a few favorite combinations:

Ranch Turkey Burgers – use Ranch Seasoning and Mild Cheddar

Italian Turkey Burgers – use Italian Seasoning and Mozzarella

Greek Turkey Burgers with Spinach and Feta (Keto)

Greek Turkey Burgers with Spinach and Feta (Keto) - juicy turkey burgers jam packed with the best Greek flavors! Low carb and Keto friendly.

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/3 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 cup spinach leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon homemade Greek seasoning, see recipe below

Greek Turkey Burger Topping

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped English cucumber
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped kalamata olives, or black olives
  • 1 tablespoon feta cheese
  • 1/2 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

For the Burgers

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Form into 6 patties.
  • Grill the patties over medium high heat, turning once until cooked through.

For the Topping

  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, stirring well. Spoon over cooked burgers to serve.
