If you’ve been following my blog, you know by now I love making my own homemade seasoning blends. Not only is it a great way to easily add big flavor to food, but it’s so much more economical! I started with these original nine blends, and am now adding this homemade Greek Seasoning Blend to my spice cupboard! It’s full of your favorite Greek/Mediterranean herbs and flavors, but doesn’t contain the extra sodium and additives found in store bought seasonings.
I created this recipe with these Greek Crispy Potato Wedges in mind. Since then, I’ve used this blend on chicken, roasted veggies, and in a variation of my homemade ranch dressing. It’s a winner for sure and will definitely be replenished on a regular basis! One of the reasons I love to make my own blends is to save time measuring multiple individual spices for recipes. I found that I used the same combinations over and over so why not have a large batch on hand to easily add in? In case you’re wondering, my favorite/most used blends would have to be the All Purpose Salt Free Blend, Chili Blend, and Taco & Fajita Blend.

Uses for Homemade Greek Seasoning Blend
- Add to ground beef or turkey and form patties for Greek Burgers
- Make a marinade by combining olive oil, seasoning, and lemon juice
- Sprinkle on fish with a drizzle of olive oil and lemon slices, then bake or grill
- Add to veggies before roasting
Homemade Greek Seasoning Blend (Whole30 Paleo)
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and stir well. Store in a small mason jar or air tight container. Stir before using, as spices will settle.
