All those rules, all that cooking…well, if you’re hesitant to begin a round of Whole30 because you can’t imagine cooking EVERY SINGLE meal, I’m here to tell you it’s easier than you think! My hands down solution is meal prep. It’s the only sure-fire way to keep meal time simple and fuss-free, be successful on Whole30, and save your sanity in the process!
I’ve completed a few rounds of Whole30 so I know from experience it can mean a lot of time in the kitchen. If you’re not used to preparing most of your own meals, this can be a deal breaker and often derail even those with the best intentions. If you struggle in this area, being efficient with your limited time really is key to staying on track. Meal prep allows for easy convenience when packing lunches, grabbing breakfast on-the-go, and saving time when preparing dinner.
One thing I hear all the time…”I don’t have time to cook dinner, let alone spend hours meal prepping.” Guys, meal prep doesn’t have to take all day! In fact, you can spend as little as 30 minutes and still make a good dent in food prep for the week. I typically spend a couple of hours on Sunday because I actually enjoy it, but you can decide what works for you!
