Slow Cooker Apple Butter
Slow Cooker Apple Butter - the easiest and best apple butter recipe you will ever need. Amazing flavor with no refined sugar!
Servings: 3 cups
- 6 cups chopped apples (peels on) I used Gala apples
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar I like Madhava brand
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
Place apples in a slow cooker. Combine sugar and spices in a small bowl, then pour over apples. Stir to combine. Cover and cook on High for 2-3 hours, until apples are golden brown and soft.
Using an immersion blender, blend apples until smooth. Cover and cook on High for an additional 2 hours until apple butter has thickened.
