- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 16 oz package frozen vegetables for soup I used Birdseye brand
- 4 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup fat free milk
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker. Top with vegetables, broth, thyme, and pepper.
Cook on High for 3-4 hours or Low for 6 hours.
Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred.
Whisk together flour and milk, making a slurry. Pour into the slow cooker and stir to combine.
Stir in chicken and salt. Cook for another 15 minutes until slightly thickened.
