- 1 lb raw deveined peeled shrimp
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1.5 tablespoons Homemade Blackened Seasoning see recipe below
Rinse shrimp and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Toss the shrimp in a bowl with the Blackened seasoning.
Add the oil to a large cast iron pan or skillet and heat over medium high heat.
Add shrimp to the pan, arranging in a single layer. Do not move or disturb the shrimp and let cook for 2-3 minutes.
Flip the shrimp and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes, until shrimp are no longer pink.
Remove shrimp from the pan and serve immediately, garnished with fresh lemon if desired.
