- 2 cups chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 1/2 tablespoons water plus more as needed
- 3 tablespoons Homemade Everything Bagel Seasoning, divided see recipe below
Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Remove any loose skins.
Add chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and water to the food processor. Process until smooth and creamy, adding more water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of the seasoning and pulse a few times.
Spoon hummus into a bowl and sprinkle remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons over the top. Add a drizzle of olive oil if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container.
