- 2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast cubed
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3/4 cup orange juice fresh, if possible
- 1/3 cup coconut aminos
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons raw honey
- 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken to the pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook until no longer pink.
While chicken is cooking, combine the orange juice, coconut aminos, broth, honey, garlic, and arrowroot powder in a small bowl and whisk well.
One the chicken is cooked through, add the sauce to the pan, stirring until it begins to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring, until the sauce has thickened.
Serve over rice or quinoa with a side of steamed broccoli for a complete meal.
