- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1/2 cup coconut aminos
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup thinly sliced english cucumbers
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- sesame seeds optional
- sliced green onions optional
Add the ground beef to a large skillet and cook over medium high heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
In a small bowl, combine sesame oil, coconut aminos, honey, garlic, ginger. and red pepper flakes if using. Whisk well and pour over the beef.
Over medium heat, simmer the beef mixture for about 5 minutes.
Assemble bowls with rice, beef mixture, cucumbers, and carrots. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
