Air Fryer Cajun Fries with Garlic Aioli - these addictive spicy fries are made with very little oil in the Air Fryer and served with a tangy, garlicky aioli for dipping. The perfect snack or side dish!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 1/2 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 2 teaspoons Homemade Cajun Seasoning Blend see below for recipe

Garlic Aioli Recipe

  • 1/3 cup avocado oil mayonnaise see recipe below
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Peel potatoes and cut into sticks. Place in a bowl and cover with water. Let soak for at least 15 minutes, up to 1 hour.
  • Drain the water and lay the potatoes on paper towels. Blot all excess water from the potatoes until they are dry.
  • Place potatoes in a bowl with avocado oil and cajun seasoning. Toss well to coat.
  • Preheat Air Fryer to 380 degrees. Spritz the basket of the air fryer with avocado cooking oil spray (or use a parchment liner.)
  • Place potatoes in the basket and cook at 380 degrees for 18-20 minutes (tossing the fries every 5 minutes) or until the fries are to your desired doneness.
  • Remove and toss with additional cajun seasoning if desired.

Garlic Aioli

  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to use.
